Just a quick update. I was thinking the other day, if you had asked me a year ago if I would be so concerned about taking my temperature everyday, cm, ovulation, and my length of a cycle, I would have looked at you funny. It's crazy how 7 months can change things. I got excited in the middle of my cycle thinking I actually ovulated, but I did not.I am sure when I have my first real ovulation, I will be so ecstatic!
The Metformin might be starting to make my cycles normal: 92, 18, 18, 20, 22. I hope it will get my hormones right! I want to ovulate! Unfortunately, my medicine has been making me sick still. I have been feeling so gross! I had to leave church early last week due to not feeling well. I put a call into my NP on Tuesday, but she was not in. She tried to call me today, but I was still at school(we don't have service at my school). So, I hope that maybe we can figure out a better plan, because being sick and tired, just plain sucks!
Also, the medicine is messing with my hormones so I have been crying over everything. It sucks. I started a new job and one of the teacher's wife just had a baby and a another teacher just found out she was pregnant. I am happy for them. I really am. But it sucks that lunchroom and around school talk is about babies. It's been hard. I cried. I wish it didn't bother me, but it does. I feel bad for my husband. I have been so moody and mean. I know I have been mean, it's awful! It's amazing that he still loves me! I guess this post turned into rambling. I do this a lot now. Thanks for reading!
It's a blog about my journey through infertility with PCOS to expanding our family. We may have ended our infertility journey, but a new one has started with our little miracle.

Weight Loss
I am under 230! Finally after months, maybe even a year! I am so excited! I was 228 this morning, meaning I lost about 10 pounds! I can see that I have lost weight. Evan my husband can see the change. I am excited, but a little uneasy. I feel like this excitement comes from my nausea and undesirable side effects. I have been sick on and off for 2 weeks(my medicine is now 1,000mg a day). I am afraid that the weight loss is only from my sickness. I am nervous that once I feel better it will come back.
How do other people deal with this medicine? I know hubby and I need to eat better, this week has been bad. I hope that if I eat better, my sickness will subdue.
I hope this medicine is worth it. I think it's starting to work. I might have ovulated this cycle. I am not sure. My OPKs were negative, maybe I missed my surge. I forgot to do the OPK on the day I might have ovulated. There is a lot to remember with trying to conceive.

Deep Breaths
So, I haven't updated a lot. I don't have anything new to say. I am falling into a depression. I can feel myself slipping into it.. It's been almost 7 months and I thought last cycle I may have ovulated, but alas I did not. There are so much waiting. While I wait, I get depressed. Waiting to ovulate to try. I am starting to think, what is the pointing of trying if I am not ovulating. What's the point of charting, taking prenatals, doing OPKs? It's not going to magically get me pregnant.
I am starting to feel the jealousy pains when I see a pregnant lady or a newborn. I know it's too early for me to get upset. I know I have options to get pregnant. We are trying naturally(besides Metformin, it's not really a fertility drug) until at least December. It's just this stupid waiting. It's getting to me. I have to remind myself to take deep breaths and that my time will come. (Well, right now I have to convince myself that my time will come.) Right now it seems so far off.
Okay, end of my depressing thoughts.
Positives are that my husband and I decided to eat more healthily last week. I think we are doing better, but not the best. I have decided not to try the low carb diet. It's not me and I would get depressed when I would fall. Instead more whole wheat pasta and healthier choices. I have lost some weight(2 lbs), but I think it's because I've been nauseous all week and haven't felt like eating. Maybe that's why so many people lost weight on Metformin, it made them so nauseous that they didn't eat much. My appetite has decreased. Although, I am almost always ready for sugar. Good thing we don't keep much sugary treats in our house.
I think that is it for now!
