So, my NP pulled me aside on Saturday to talk to me about my ultrasound. She said that I had multiple cysts and that I was a classic case of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I was so confused, as the technician told me that I had great eggs, well those turned out to be cysts. I am bummed. I thought I was out of the woods of having PCOS. She told me that she would look at the charts again and call me today. She called and confirmed the diagnosis of PCOS. She placed me on Metaformin. I am hoping I don't get many of the bad side effects of this medicine. Anyway, I just wanted to get this out there. Prayers would be appreciated.
